alright, so i don’t know how many of you still pay attention to pitchfork, the long-time hipster mecca of music blogs, but i’ll admit that i look at it from time to time. as is with everything that is super awesome, sometimes there’s a kernel of sticky icky goodness trapped inside all the fluffy stuff. you just have to be willing to look.

this video is part one of a series called “cinemash,” brought to you by mean magazine and the unholy microsoft. the premise behind it is that famous dudes and ladies get to recreate - or “mash up” - their favorite scenes. this week, zooey deschanel and joseph gordon-levitt do sid and nancy. next week, cheech and chong cinemash tron.
