On CNNHD, they had their political correspondents giving plusses or minuses to each candidate throughout the debate on the side of the screen. It was comprised of (R) and (D) correspondents alike. The final tally, when I add and subtracted it all up at the end was something like McCain +25, Obama +75. Even the guy, Castellanos, who alone gave Palin a +30 or so in the VP debate had Obama crushing McCain this time around.

McCain made some really hilarious physical movements… the faces he sometimes make and that fucking grimace of a smile really crack me up. Then he called Obama “that one”, which was pretty weird and funny.

Policy-wise, McCain continued to show me that experience does not equal sound decision making. I think Obama did pretty well. He seemed relaxed and did well at explaining his positions.

What was your opinion?

VP debate is on tonight. Lets discuss this. First and foremost, if you think Palin is sweet, fuck you. My guess is that nobody reading this feels that way, but I have been wrong in the past. She thinks that humans and dinosaurs co-existed because she had seen “pictures of human footprints inside [dinosaur] tracks.”

If you have seen any of these clips from her interviews with Couric, you should have an idea of what the debate could bring tonight (ie. - She couldn’t name a single news source from which she gets her info from, claims she can see Russia from Alaska [false], and can’t name a single Supreme Court case beyond Roe v. Wade). Maybe she will surprise me. But I’m honestly hoping for a trainwreck, which I think could easily happen. Biden is kind of crazy sometimes, but I like it.

It’s still really unfortunate, however, that every major candidate ever (including any that I have supported) has used a phrase similar to something like, “My faith plays a major role in any decisions that I make.”

Fucking ridiculous.
